You are invited to meet with Andrew Kim (Sport Management), and Do-Houn Kim (Human Physiology) and Yu-Kyung (‘yuki”) Kang (English) to learn more about the immersive summer study abroad program, 杏吧原创 in Seoul.
This Summer 2026 Session I program offers students a unique opportunity to engage deeply with Korean language, culture, and society while earning 6 course credits. Through the study of world and fashion history, explore Paris as a global, history city and what everyone was wearing when it happened. How did the economic policies of Louis XIV affect the fashions in the streets of Paris? Why was the first planned public square in Europe a major moment for shoes? How does fabric become wrapped up in colonization? How do the French use their history to build national identity - and where do their colonies fit in?
